One way to lower your carbon footprint is to get a more fuel efficient car. For example, the Toyota Prius is sited by the U.S Department of energy as one of the most fuel efficient cars of 2016. The vehicle gets 44/mpg and only costs approximately 800$ in annual fuel cost. This along with driving the speed limit and changing your car filters on time will all lower your carbon footprint.
