Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

BCooper's Carbon Footprint
Hello, my name is Bruce Cooper and I currently attend St. Johns River State College in Orange Park, Florida, USA. My Carbon Footprint was 19,800kg of CO2 per year, this is not very surprising to me because my family and myself do use a lot on technology. I have reduced my car usage and my family doesn’t go on many trips. Maybe one or two a year. I plan on downsizing my life within the next two years when my kids graduate high school. My wife and I plan on selling most of our stuff including our home and purchasing a Recreation Vehicle and use more solar power to live very close to the beach. It was an eye opener and pleasure doing this Carbon Footprint!
