Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon Footprint post #1

ksavoie

My name is Kalley Savoie, I live in Fleming Island florida. After doing my carbon footprint it has made me realize that the things you do in your everyday life has a big effect on the earth. Some things I could do to lower my carbon footprint would be to bring my own bags when I go shopping. Also, I plan to be more efficient when I use electricity. Instead of having the lights on in my house during the day, I plan to open my blinds to allow natural light come in. [Carbon fp](//muut.com/u/footprint/s1/:footprint:ptWP:carbonfp.gif.jpg)
