Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Foot Print
Hi my name is Malik sowells I am 18 and I attend mooresville high school. My carbon footprint total was 8,511 kgs. I was very surprised because I'd thought it would be higher than that. For transportation I could walk more instead of getting a ride and I could unplug electrons when i am not using them to improve my carbon footprint.
That is impressive because your way below average and your actually doing good to the environment which is really good.
i agree
Making sure you unplug your electronics would be a great way to improve your carbon footprint!
Walking more instead of getting a ride in a car would definitely help your carbon footprint as well as unplugging electronics when you are not using them.
