Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon Footprint calculations
I did the carbon footprint calculator and found that my carbon footprint is just above the average. I believe that if i cut back on a few things and improve efficiency on others i would leave a better carbon footprint.
Believe it or not, you can lower your carbon footprint by doing very simple things. For example, you can cut back the time of your showers, unplug chargers that you do not use, turn off completely your computer or phone, and also using more public transportation.
I certainly believe this is a good idea because it helps the environment in many ways. By decreasing the use of resources like food, water, or electricity, we can use these resources much longer. It is also a good idea to decrease the hours driven or traveled from place to place so we decrease the amount of contamination in the environment.
