Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Global Warming

Tricyah

What is global warming, many people have different opinions about how global warming works. And because so there are many different opinions about how it's caused. Many think that humans are the cause of global warming, how it started and when it started. As evidence many people think it started when the industrial revolution began. But many other people have different opinions and think it's just nature's way of changing its climate. What are your opinions?

I think that the earth deteriorates gradually over the years because before the industrial revolution, the major changes made were not that big and destructive as they are now. Then after the industrial revolution it was when technology was booming and improving every time but it has become more harmful for the environment and now global warming has increased in a drastic way.
