Humans Cause Pollution
I believe that the USA causes a lot of emissions. The population of the US is that of 320M people. It’s the third most populated country, but the second with the highest carbon emissions in the world, as of 2014. All of our emissions and pollution, not only of the US, but the world, has caused there to be global warming/climate change. We can’t ignore the fact that it’s getting really heated lately, and the weather is changing. At least for California, there has been drought for many years, and heat waves. Eventhough, it’s supposed to be fall, the weather has been even warmer than Summer. Throughout the years the US has always been ranked in the top five with the most CO2 releases.
I think that it’s terrifying that the US doesn’t have the most population, but it has one of the highest rates of pollution in the world. My opinion is that our American society should stop using so many unnecessary items that contribute to global warming. We burn fossil fuels in each new car by transportation, also every big home consumi ng much energy, and new items of technology. Electricity is what releases more toxins and causes more pollution. Making sure when the lights aren’t in use, to turn them off, and same for each water faucet.
