Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Is Global Warming Real?
When I’m watching the news I see a plethora of different and often opposing ideas.
Global Warming is a topic that is always on debate. Whether Republicans say it’s not real, or is created naturally, or Democrats saying that it’s real and is mostly man made. I’ve been exposed to both ideas and whenever I hear debates I can’t really choose because I don’t know if it is real, and have seen both sides of the topic.
However, I have been exposed to the idea that Global Warming is not false and man
Made. For example cars emit arounds 24 pounds of Carbon Dioxide per each gallon and other global warming gasses per gallon of gas, and in the US, most vehicles produce about 30 percent of all global warming gasses.
