Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Global Warming is imminent ?
The sea level of all oceans are increasing much faster than we would like it to. Due to the glaciers melting because of global warming, the sea level will continue to rise unless we find a way to stop it. The experts expect a likely rise of 40-60 cm (15-23 inches)- in this century and 60-100 cm (15-39 inches) by the year 2300. This may not seem like a thing to worry about, and you’re probably right, since nobody alive right now will live to have to deal with the full effect of it. However, in the generations to come, we messed it up for them. Global warming is going to happen, and bad things will come of it. However, the best we can do for the time being is to slow it down.
Things we can do to slow down global warming are so simple, yet many people will neglect the idea of this, as we always are too lazy to not do it or just forget. Things as simple as turning off lights, or turning off the water while it’s running. People aren’t the only things being affected by global warming, Polar bears are affected by this too, because they live on these glaciers. With them meltin g, the polar bears don’t have places to live, and they’re going extinct. Because of what we’ve done. If you want to know more, "Climate Change 101." Home. Web. 29 Sept. 2016.
