Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

The number of CO2 that I produce per year is less than the Spanish's average and the average of my high school, that it produces.
In transportation I produce plus CO2 than in my region but less than in my high school.
In home, I produce it much than the Spanish's average.  In food is opposite to the previous case, because my quantity of CO2 is less than the Spanish's average, but it is more or less the same that the average of my high school, and it is equal for the purchases.
In my case, I must reduce the consume of my home.
