Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Bryan I. My carbon Footprint (North Carolina)
My name is Bryan. I am from the United States and live in North Carolina, Mooresville. I am 17 years old. My carbon footprint was above average with a total of 25,314kgs. The majority of my carbon footprint came from transportation. I expected my results because I do travel a lot more than an average person. What surprised me the most is that my home carbon footprint at home was below average then people in my region. I learned that transportation is a major part of my carbon footprint. I also learned that you don’t realize how much of a footprint you have when you travel a lot. To decrease my carbon footprint I will car pool more. Buy more fuel efficient cars that give off less emissions. Also I will walk more to places that are close around.
Hello there Bryan, It is true that your carbon footprint for transportation was the highest... and you should carpool more. But congrats on getting below average for the house category.
Thanks a lot for your reply it means a lot to know someone is reading my post.
