Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Recycling
Each of us will send 64 tons of waste to landfills over our lifetime.
I think it's way to much, but I'm the first to trow away something if I don't need it anymore. Therefore i made some researches and found out that recycling is an excellent way of saving energy and conserving the environment, I also found out that up to 60% of the rubbish that ends up in the dustbin could be recycled and 70% less energy is required to recycle paper compared with making it from raw materials.
If you're interested in easy ways to recycle, here are websites that are very interesting http://www.recycling-guide.org.uk/ http://www.treehugger.com/htgg/how-to-g … cling.html
The second one also has a video on plastic bottles that I found really helpful and easy to unerstand.
And if you have some tips on how I could improve my "recycling skills", feel free to tell me.
