food waste
I have not read ALL the (probably good) comments, but I just want to write one thing:
I think that our problem is also food waste.
Today's food is all so perfect and lasting, therefore we always tend to buy more than is necessary and as a result we waste A LOT of food. We cook too many times a day (=> energy waste), and if we buy naturally food that isnt so perfect, it becomes rotten and what is supposed to do? Throw it in the rubbish.
(And at the same time there is - somewhere - someone who is poor.)
So.. just care more about it :-)
