Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

How I plan To Change My Carbon Footprint
When I did the activity that showed what my carbon footprint was, I was astounded at how high it was. I am destroying the earth at an alarming rate. I plan to conserve our heat in winter by shutting the doors and windows as fast as possible. I also would like to shut off all electricity not being used in our house until it is needed. I will even try to get a fuel efficient car when I get older so I save money and ozone.
A easy way to help change your carbon footprint is to walk and bike instead of drive. To consume less meats and things that have a big carbon footprint. Just to make sure when you are done with something you shut it off. Not leaving something on all day and not turning it off. Use different ways of energy, such as solar or wind or anything you can use.
