Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon Impact of Farm Grown Fish and Wild Caught Fish
Despite what I previously though, wild caught fish have a larger carbon footprint than farm grown fish. My source says that wild caught fish are caught off boats that have to be driven out into the ocean. These boats usually use gas. On the other hand, farm raised fish can be raised more inland or even on land. They also have close food sources such as worms in the ground. Wild caught fish has a larger carbon footprint because of the distance traveled to get them.

I did not know that about the wild fish having a larger carbon footprint!
