Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint
My name is Annisten Christensen, I am from Mooresville, North Carolina, United States and I am 14. My total Carbon Footprint was 19,679, this score is a little higher than average. The majority of my footprint came from the transportation portion with a score of 11,486. I was not expecting my score to be that high because I didn't think that I had that big of an impact on the world. What really surprised me was my transportation score, I didn't realize I went that many places. To decrease my score I could save energy around my home and also try to limit the amount of places I drive.
Ride a bike or walk, maybe even go for a run, try using less water and heating, and try to travel less in any vehicle should help by a tad bit. Maybe more.
