Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Below average
Home energy and food were fairly low. Home energy was the one that shocked me the most between the two. It shocked me the most because I leave my fan on all the time. Also sometimes I forget to turn off lights in my room or downstairs. Food was lower than expected because I eat a lot of food. Grapes is my favorite food so my mom buys a lot of the big boxes of grapes but those still last like two days.
That just shows how much people use these things
Maybe buy re-usable bags when you shop instead of plastic, and put a stickie-note on a door or something to reminds you to turn off lights when you leave the house.
I do the same thing with the lights all the time, to help stop my light issue I have decided to use natural light during the day let into threw windows to help me see. I want to share this idea with you so that you can help reduce carbon even more which you can never reduce your carbon use by too much.
