Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

family footprint
Hey it's Lindsey! My family can do a lot of things to lower are carbon footprint. One of the things we really need to lower is our home energy. We use a lot of electricity when we don't need to. Sometimes my family leaves the lights on in the house even though there isn't anyone home. A big thing we do is always leave things plugged in even when we are not using them. My family needs to start shutting off lights and unplugging things from the wall if we want to lower are carbon footprint.
Good luck using less energy.
Good luck
I agree to try to turn off the lights and that will help a little bit
It's a good thing that you will decrease your usage of energy
I like that you are wanting to decrease your use of energy to help the environment! Although this is a major issue in your family, do you believe you all can come together to fix this issue?
its a great thing you are trying to decrease energy by turning stuff off good luck using less energy
Shutting off lights can help using less energy and can lower the power bill
Try turning off the lights and using natural sunlight during the day and it will lower some of your carbon use. But overall good job and keep up the good work that you are doing to try and make things better for the world.
