Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint
My name is Mary, I am from Mooresville NC and I am 14 years old.My carbon footprint is around average for my region, but just above. The majority came from home. I expected about the results I got because I try not to waste. In the future I will try not to waste and try to minimize my usage of different things,
Mine also came from home and I think that you are going in the right direction with lowering your foot print
My majority did not come from home, it came from transportation but I am also trying to lower my footprint.
Try turning the lights off when leaving your room or the fan or just about anything, and continue to not waste things should help with a good majority of your home stuff or try showering in colder water it helps for some reason.
if its for home i will assume that the problem is energy related.if you are having trouble sleeping because its too cold/hot use a lighter/heaver blanket.if its heating/cooling make sure that you get used to temperature changes or wear a jacket.
Whatever your keeping running try to minimize that.
You should turn off your lights when you leave a room or not using them.
You could start to use more fans then the air conditioner system in your home during the summer.
Or not change it at all
