Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon Footprint Christian (Mooresville, NC)

Christian123

My name is Christian I am from Mooresville, NC. My carbon footprint total was 37,045 kg this is higher than a average person in NC. Most of my carbon footprint comes from transportation. My family goes to vacation and we visit my family in other states. Another big impact in my carbon footprint is from my house, we have a family of 7. We turn off the lights when we don't use them but theres a lot of people which causes lights to be on when its dark. Lately my family have been trying to make the carbon footprint lower by turning off the lights when we don't need them on.
