Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon footprint

kelsn

My names Kelsey,I am from Mooresville,North Carolina USA.I’m 15 years old.  My total carbo foot print was 4,580. That’s below average, and The majority of my carbon footprint came from my Home, 2,547. My results defiantly weren’t what I was expecting. What surprised me most was that most of my carbon footprint came from the home portion. What I learned from this is that there are plenty of ways to reduce this. Some of my future futures action not just to lower for my home, but just in general just to reduce any part of it.
