Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon Footprint
My name is Peyton, I live in Mooresville NC and I am 14 years old. My carbon footprint was rather high, it was 20,391. The average for someone in my region is 15,918. The majority of mine, came from food, almost half of my footprint came from food because I have a lot of people that live and come to my house so I kind of expected it to be this high. In the future I would probably reduce the amounts of food I am consuming so mine isn't so high.
Get food that you will eat and don't get extra food that you won't eat.
Cutting down on the amount of food you don't need can reduce your footprint
