Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint
Morgan Carothers I am from Mooresville, NC and Iredell County,I am 15 years old. My carbon footprint total was 12,740 and that about average maybe a little higher than average. Most of my carbon footprint comes from home because I don't really go anywhere but to three places 24/7. If I'm not going to any of those places than I'm at home . I wasn't shocked about my carbon footprint results because I expected that but I honestly thought it would be higher than it was but I'm glad it wasn't. I think what shocked me the most was my home results because I figured transportation would beat all of them even though I don't really go anywhere. I honestly think I could decrease my results is by getting out more into the nature be social and not antisocial as much.
Our footprints are similar because we dont travel as much. You should also try to turn lights and water off when you are not using them!
Mine was from home also, maybe its because we stay home a lot.
Turn the water off when you are brushing your teeth and turn lights of in rooms that your not in.
