Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footpring
Hi i'm Alex Coleman, I am 14 years old and live In Mooresville North Carolina, United States . My total carbon footprint is 7,713. Im not surprised it was low, I knew it would be low cause I don't really travel a whole lot, about once to twice a year. Transportation was my highest at 3,392. I would like for my footprint to be a little higher later in my life.
I think its really well and I hope it gets higher later in your life to.
I was surprised that your highest was transportation,my highest was home so yeah.
yeah transportation takes a lot more than i thought
I as well didn't travel a lot in the last years but my highest was Home
I should probably travel less because my travel was at about 10,000
You have a really small carbon footprint. I thought yours would be higher then what yours is. But it really is surprising how you highest on is transportation.
You should travel less and that will reduce your footprint.
Alex, you travel a lot.
Cutting down on transportation would reduce your footprint.
