Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon Footprint
My name Is Chase I am 14 years old and currently residing in Mooresville North Carolina which is located on the east coast of the United States. My carbon footprint came to a total of 9,384 kgs as compared to the average of 15,918 kgs. I was very surprised to see that I was below average due to the life style that I live. Since I am below average I don’t think any changes are necessary for me to improve my carbon footprint. However, if I were to change something it would most likely be transportation. I would start to walk or ride my bike to local stores and events. This solution I feel would be both beneficial to not only my carbon footprint but my health also.
Your footprint was higher than mine.
