Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon footprint

Dariansoto

Hello, my name is Darian Soto my total was 19,712. It was above average while my states average was was 15,918. Most of my footprint was from food. I rarely go out to eat and usually eat at home. My results didn't completely surprise me. Maybe i could start eating more of a variety of foods.

Your footprint was a lot lower than mine, but mine was from transportation.

Your footprint was over a lot by mine, but then again my highest column was being at home

I think you should keep a variety of what you eat, maybe it will help lower you carbon footprint results.
