My Family's Footprint
I never considered my household to be effecting the world as much as it truly does. After calculating my personal numbers i can only imagine how high my household total would be. I understand that my family and I need to start putting our needs before our wants. For example, I wanted a cell phone I didn't "need" one. In the same way every member of my household wanted laptops and cellphones. I am going to start using or "wanting" less technology. i am not about to put my phone down for good, but i realize that i truly don't need an iPod, iPhone, laptop, and iPad.
I agree completely with everything you are saying. I am the same way I put my wants in front of my needs and I need to change that too.
