Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon Footprint

Ares9339

Hey guys it's Robert! I live in the US. I was looking at my footprint and then comparing it to other people around me. I was surprised because mine was a lot less than the average around me. I think that maybe it is because I rarely eat meat, or maybe because I don't go on vacations as much. My food and travel footprints were really low.

Thank you,

good job Robert, and yes, I believe you have identified two areas that really make a big different in most peoples' footprints.

But even though you have a low relative footprint, did you identify any areas where you could lower your impact even further?
