Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon Footprint
My name is Jaslynn Cowan. I am 14 years old and I am from Mooresville, NC, USA. My carbon footprint was 12,941. This was a little below average. Majority of my footprint came from home, because I usually have a lot of company at my house during the weekdays and weekends. So, many of the lights in house would be used. Also, I don’t recycle at home like I should. I was a little surprised at my total, because I thought it would be higher than it was. Although, from this project I learned that I need to limit the usage of lighting, and start recycling more.
yeah, just cut down on the lighs it will save money and cut your carbon footprint down.
Your carbon footprint is really pretty high.
Your carbon footprint is twice as mine. I hope that you can decrease yours carbon footprint more!
