Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint
My name is Autumn. I am from Mooresville, North Carolina, USA. I am 14 years old. My total was 7,997, my carbon footprint total was below average. The majority of it came from food. I was surprised that the majority of it was on food.
My total was also below average.
mine was below average too and i got a lot from food too, but that wasn't the most of it for me.
My total was below and I got alot from driving and light energy
my total was below as well and my highest was Home
My carbon footprint for food was the most too. My total for food was below average.
mine was below average
cut down on the food and you carbon footprint would be better
wait- don't necessarily "cut down on food" - you need a certain number of healthy calories on a daily basis! The question is: what do you eat? Did you see any difference in the footprints depending on diet? Autumn and the others: would you be willing to adjust your diet somewhat to lower your impact?
