Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Hello from Slovenia :)
My name is Ela, I'm 17 years old and I come from Slovenia. My carbon footprint is 7883, which is about the same as the average footprint in my region. The majority of my footprint comes from home and transportation which kind of surprised me since I walk to school every day and our house is made to be pretty ecologic and energy-saving. I'm wondering what everybody else's footprints are like, especially footprints of people from other countries and parts of the world
did your carbon footprint surprise you and why? How high/low is it compared to the average footprint of your country/region? Would you like to share anything else about your footprint? Hope to hear from anyone ![]()
