Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

LESS CARBON FOOTPRINT

juliaaguadospain

I have a elevate carbon footprint but I think I could have a lower carbon foot print, because I am going to use less electricity in my house and also, I am going to spend the money in necessary things, for example, using the train, the bus, the plane, etc., for not contaminate the planet.
If all person collaborated, we would have a better world and less contaminated.

Hello use the plane isn't a good solution.
My footprint is elevate because I do France-Reunion twice in a year while I use a little my car I take always the bus for go to school.

Instead of a bus or train, try riding a bicycle or walking to closer places to not to contaminate the world. The plane isn't necessary unless you absolutely have to. Its great that you are taking a stand and trying to improve our planet by reducing the amount of electricity you are using.
