Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Food and it’s carbon footprint

oliviaz

We all love to eat, or in other words we all need to eat, but do you know that food have a huge amount on carbon footprint? Food especially meat produces incredibly huge amount of methane that is a huge damage to the Earth and is a big problem. We can reduce the amount of the animal agriculture’s carbon footprint by eating less meat, more vegetables. Every week eat a few full vegetarian meals and add it up day by day. This can help the Earth’s environments, and it can also improve your heath.
