Tori's Carbon Footprint (Mooresville, North Carolina, USA)
I am Tori a 11th grade student at Mooresville High School which is located in Mooresville, NC, USA. we were assigned a project that would help us determine our carbon footprint just as you guys were. I'm 17 years old and constantly going place to place. The Mooresville High School students entered our information into our computers that gave us our results and here are mine.

By surprise my carbon results were not higher than the North Carolina average. Going to and from work made me think that my outcome on transportation would be a large amount. My carbon usage is smaller compared to my region, which was expected because we leave lights off a majority of the time and we try to reserve as much water as possible. I’m guessing in the food department my carbon came out to be low because of my nutrients and the fact that I don’t eat a lot. With the purchases I thought that my carbon come out would be a lot higher considering I shop all of the time. A majority of my carbon footprint came fro m my transportation because of I go to work at least three times a week. In the Future for my carbon footprint in order for me to decrease it I will work more on my home usage by cutting lights off more often and and transportation by walking more because I only live five minutes away from the high school.

My results were also below average. This surprised me also. I can see why your transportation is higher than the rest of your categories because you work (and I come to see you sometimes). I like how you explained each result you got and why you think you got that result. Great job!
