Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My name is Alexis, and I am 15 and from Mooresville NC, US. My carbon footprint was lower than the average carbon footprint.Mt total carbon footprint was 12,624 and is below average than the average. The majority of my carbon footprint came from home because thats where we use the most of our electricity and gas and our other resources at home.My results definitely  surprised me, because I expected my carbon footprint to way higher than the average carbon footprint and I have learned that my carbon footprint is a lot better than a lot of peoples.I think I could decrease my carbon footprint by not using as much as my resources at home and going to littler places so I'm not wasting gas for transportation.

I love your presentation, I can tell that you are a good person and I like what you decided to do with your carbon footprint.
