Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My carbon footprint was extremly higher then most of the people in my region. My total footprint was 52,020 and the average was 15,918.  i was really suprised by my footprint because a lot of other people do sports and they didn't have similar numbers.  I'm going to try to decrease my footpint by being more carful and discovering different ways to do things.

Hi Jaleel, I really enjoyed reading your results on your footprint! Your footprint is very high like mine! We both need to cut it down! Great job!

i think that is good that you play sports. And that is good that you are trying to decrease your carbon foorptint.
