Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Hello from Spain
Hello, my result is bellow the average of Spain, but i thinkin my country there isn't too many pollution and that the people don't worry so much for the pollution as in other countries, but it has seemed to me to be interesting to do this questions and to calculate the Carbon Footprint
Hello from California! My carbon footprint result is above the average of California. My carbon footprint is 23,765 kgs and the average in CA is 9,727 kgs. I think it is because I travel a lot and have gone across the country to other states in the past year. I also have a family of 5, so we use a lot more electricity than other families living in California. There are a lot of factories where I live producing pollution and I think I can reduce my carbon footprint by taking less flights and going less places, as well as conserve more energy.
Hi Nera i am from California and my carbon foot print was 15,492 kgs where the California average is 9,729. I think the reason for this is that my family does quite a bit of travel not only in planes but we do a lot of driving. I agree with you and think that most Americans don't know what their carbon footprint is and they don't care as much as they should about the earth. Things that we could do to get people more aware is that we can share this website with friends and family and try to get more people aware of what they are doing for the environment.
