Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Little Things Help

ROHANSKALRA

When I took my carbon footprint, I found out that it was lower than average which is a good thing, but I think that I can lower it even more by doing little things. I learned from english teacher that the process of killing animals and producing meat brings a lot of carbon, so by lowering the amount of meat we consume, will lower the amount of carbon. We also can try to use cars least possible, like if you were going down the street, you could walk or bike instead of driving. Little stuff like this will start to add up and it can make a big difference.
