My student footprint
When I took the carbon footprint calculator, I saw that I was average or below average in all the categories except transportation. I was surprised by this because I rarely take flights and I didn't think that I drove around that much either. I then actually thought about why this might be and what I could do to change this. I realized that I use a car to go almost anywhere I go and don't usually carpool or take public transportation. I also realized how simple the changes I could do to lower my carbon footprint. Public transportation and carpooling are two of the easiest and simple ways to lower your carbon footprint and I will be trying to be more aware and try to do these things.
