Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Footprint discussion
I think it's interesting that some less developed parts of the world have a lower footprint.
HI. My name is taleah and i live in florida. where do you live?
Less developed would most likely mean less everything in my opinion. I would expect that they would have a lower footprint than more developed places like Florida or California.
It's ironic how developed countries may be more thriving and advanced, yet most are likely large contributors of carbon dioxide to our atmosphere. On the other hands, developing countries struggle with resources, technology, etc., but their lack of advancements gives them greater environmental positivity.
Hi. how was your experience with the carbon footprint challenge? My experience was very interesting because my home calculations were 4,795kg which was the highest out of transportation, food, and purchases.
Thats crazy how developed countries may be more thriving and more up to date, but yet the most are likely large contributors of carbon dioxide to our atmosphere, which is really true. In another way, developing countries struggle with resources, technology, etc., but their lack of those advancements gives them a much greater environmental positivity. This the most important about the situation.
