My Footprint
I was expecting my carbon footprint to be average before I calculated this. In total, after calculations, my footprint was more than average, but everything other than transportation was below average. I realized that the biggest part of my footprint are the trips (plane and really long car trips). They affected my footprint way more than I initially expected to, and I'm going to try's to work with my family to lower our traveling footprint while still doing all the things they want to do. Any suggestions?

I was really expecting my carbon footprint to be on the higher side, but when I found out that I was below average I was delighted. When I looked through the data for my carbon footprint, I discovered that traveling was the major category that set me apart from the average person. I personally have never been on a plane before, nor do I travel on vacations by car very often. So I would say that if people were really looking to cut down their carbon footprint they should travel less often.
My carbon footprint kinda surprised me honestly. My purchases category was pretty low, this surprised me the most because I tend to shop a a lot. Another thing that surprised me was my transportation, it was very high and after seeing how high it was I realized how far I travel every day and weekend.
