Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Hunter DeBerardino Carbon Footprint
My Region has an average of 15,918 of total footprint. My carbon footprint is 11,900. My transportation is 2,619, my region is 4,184. Mine is a lot lower than average. My mom is 4,733 and our average is 6,148. My food is 4,232 and our average is 3,636. My food and home take up most of my carbon footprint. My purchases is 316 and the average is 1,950. My purchases are a lot lower than our average.
My purchases are also miles below average. My region is 1950 and I am 91. As is the same with you, my food and transportation make up the majority of my carbon footprint.
Mine is around 20,000 and my purchases are way lower than the average too.
It is a good carbon footprint, you also are making the environment better.
That's very good, I wish my carbon footprint was lower than the average but that's why we all used the carbon calculator, right?. To show us that we have an impact on our environment and it's up to us to help/protect it.
