Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

After calculating my carbon footprint, it came to a total of 6,566. This is a lot lower than the average. The majority of my carbon footprint came from home use. I expected my carbon footprint to be a lot more than it was. What surprised me was that thrift shopping for most of your clothes can take your purchases way down. I learned that my mom being more cautious of what we use and what we spend has had a good impact on my life. I don't think I need to lessen my carbon footprint by much, but if I did, I would change my actions at home by using less bad lighting and less energy for AC.
