Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon Footprint
My name is Cameron and I'm from Mooresville, North Carolina. For my carbon footprint my total score was 15,093 which was almost the same as the average which is 15,918. I had guessed that I would have around the average carbon footprint score because I recycle and I limit water use. I did however have a higher score in transportation because I use my car a lot during the week. I was lower in food and purchases which balanced out being higher in transportation.
I think everyone had a higher transportation than anything because that is what people use the most than anything else. But my foot print was really low, it was below average by a lot but my highest carbon consumption did have to do with transportation.
