When I calculated my carbon footprint, the total was 17,653. The total footprint in my region was 15,918, so mine total was above average. The majority of my footprint was from home, which was 9,097. This was probably because we use battery powered lawn equipment, and use lots of gas to heat our home. I was a little bit surprised when I found out my total carbon footprint, I expected it to be a little bit lower. I was also a little bit surprised that my transportation total was not the greatest because we travel a lot over the summer, have several after school activities and it takes us a while to get to and from school. In the future, I don't think there's a lot I can do to reduce my carbon footprint, but I could be more careful about how much water I use.

i think alot of our transportations are low because we are in school and most people ride the school bus back and fourth home and because they go by a certain mile distance from the school i think our total is less

My transportation was way lower than I expected. I thought it would way higher because I travel during the summer, have sports, and hang out with friends all the time.

My footprint was made up mostly of transportation so Im jealous that yours is mainly stuff from home.

I am also surprised that you could have something else be the highest besides transportation because my transportation is easily the highest.
