Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Footprint discussions
I think this carbon footprint challenge is very interesting to do because you get to talk to other people you dont know and compare each other carbon footprints and which one of the categories you had were the highest.
i also think that this is interesting
This is a great test in order to know what you need to do to help out your communities carbon footprint.
I think this challenge is cool because you can discuss with other people about how to reduce your carbon footprint and compare your totals with different people.
Wow, I've never thought of it like that.
I also think it is very interesting. It is cool to see the other results from all over the world. Especially since many people have high scores in different categories based on where they live. This is a great learning experience to further see how things you do affect the environment.
I agree, I've never seen anything quite like this before. It's really cool how we can talk to other people around the world and compare data.
I think this is a great test to see what our impacts on the environment really are
I think the highest for most is transportation because i think we all travel more than we do anything else. But i do agree that this activity is very unique because you can see how you are the same as others.
