Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Personal Footprint
Taking the quiz given to us, I learned that I am under the average national amount, which is very shocking to me. I answered everything honestly, however, my personal goal is to be more green and to be more conscious about the world around us. I guess what I have to say is, I can do more and I should do more. I'm trying to now get more recycling cans so we can keep on recycling and decrease the amount we throw away, which is a lot just between my parents. I'm also trying to think of different ways to be more energy efficient and not use as much electricity. This is only the beginning of decreasing my carbon footprint, now that I am well aware of how much I actually execute.
