Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

GLOBAL WARMING CAUSED BY CLIMATE CHANGE??
Climate change can lead to global warming. Climate change is creating more wildfires, from an article called “ The Great Burning” it states that the average fire burns twice more acres than it did 10 years ago. Over those Ten years Co2 has been distributed around the atmosphere making more in the air. The Co2 is causing the temperatures to rise. Summers are becoming hotter and heat causes plants to dry out and start fires. The Government hasn’t been helping or investing money to firefighters leaving them at risk. Wild Fires are causing Glaciers to melt. Jason Boss, A person who studies Glaciers pointed out the dangers of climate change. The fire smog from the Wildfires travel all the to the glaciers and lands on them. The warmth from the fire smog causes the glaciers to melt faster. Once the Glaciers are melted they let big co2 bubbles into the ocean. Underneath the Glaciers there are tiny air pockets that have co2 inside them. Once the Glacier is melted the co2 gets released into the ocean. Keep in mind the ocean is already absorbing Co2 from the atmosphere created by Wild Fires. Not only do the Glaciers put co2 into the ocean, but it rises the sea level. Making a big problem for us, flooding. These components all tie together into one big knot. That knot is called Global Warming. Want to know more about climate change and global warming? Click the site below!
