Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

How can we stop world hunger?
Not surprisingly, about 98% of hungry people live in developing countries. There are many ways to help prevent world hunger, and some ways we can prevent it is by food donations. Impacts of donations, both cash and foods, have had an immense impact on world hunger. Even by donating money, they can still take that money and buy food with it, so it's just as helpful as donating food.
Organizations such as Food for All have managed to raise millions of dollars to fight world hunger by getting supermarket customers to donate a few dollars during checkout.
You can really never end world hunger, but by getting your community involved, there are ways where you can help it.
