Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Traveling

cassidycLLHS

Traveling or driving to places that you can easily access isin't necessary. Instead you should be walking or biking to that place, it benefits your health and the environment. Driving to downtown when its a 15 minute walk or 8 minute bike from you is ridiculous and it emits a lot of CO2 and doesn't look good on your carbon footprint. In conclusion we should only drive when it is necessary.

This is a good idea but it would be hard to get the majority of the population on board with doing this
